Warner Bros. Interactive Will Distribute Cyberpunk 2077 in The usa

Polish developer and publisher CD Projekt RED today announced with a press released that this won’t be distributing?its upcoming game Cyberpunk 2077 in The united states. Instead, Warner Bros. Interactive will handle distribution for the region in the event the game eventually launches.

As noted from the announcement, this isn’t actually anything particularly unusual. Warner Bros. Interactive handled the distribution of both previous two Witcher titles.

“We’ve helped Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment within the Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and both releases ended up being really successful, so we’re entering this new stage individuals cooperation with great confidence,” says Micha? Nowakowski, CD PROJEKT’s Person the Board and SVP of Business Development. “Cyberpunk 2077 is our biggest and a lot ambitious project to date, with this particular really getting excited about every one of the magic we could achieve together.”

“CD PROJEKT RED is one of the best game development studios on the earth and it is great being working together with they again,” said Kevin Kebodeaux, Senior Vice chairman, Sales, Americas, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “Cyberpunk 2077 is a standout title and we are expecting excellent achievements from a continued collaboration with CD PROJEKT RED.”

It’s important to note that Warner Bros. Interactive’s involvement while in the project is inclined simply for the distribution of physical copies within the game. Cyberpunk 2077, like the Witcher 3 before it, is published entirely by CD Project Red.

Without extrapolating too wildly, might CD Project Red arranging physical distribution mean we’re better the making of Cyberpunk 2077 than we first thought – say, 2019? We’ll need to wait and find out. For now, research our preview impressions within the game from the experience at E3.
