If you’ve ever played any entry in both the Forza Horizon or Forza Motorsport series, you’ll have seen the developer’s acute attention to detail. Each car is painstakingly modeled to take a look exactly like its real-life counterpart. Every track or landscape you speed across is evenly immaculately detailed, making for one of the more immersive and jaw-dropping experiences you can receive at the moment. During our time playing Forza Horizon 4, we spotted a large number of tiny details that this team at Playground Games has slipped into your game for you to probably won’t even notice.

To do the developer’s work justice, also, since they’re generally pretty cool, we’ve included five of the very incredible, tiny details you have got missed in Forza Horizon 4.

The Streetlight Numbered Labels

This one caught even us out. I’m a Brit, for those who care, so i was particularly excited to dive into Playground Games’ rendition of my homeland to discover just what exactly insane details they managed to drop in. Although I expected millimeter perfect car models, and usually stunning views because cruised from the game’s rendition with the Lake District, I didn’t think they’d go in terms of to detail the streetlights.

If a person looks closely enough on many of the streetlights as you’re cruising around in Forza Horizon 4, it’s very easy to view the numbered labels which the real-life streetlights have. For all those unaware, these numbered labels are essentially helpful to locate problematic streetlights, so they can identify which circuit it’s an integral part of.

Is this common knowledge? Not likely. Is that this something Forza Horizon 4 players worry about? Most likely not. Could it be an excellent illustration of Playground Games’ focus detail? Absolutely.

This isn’t the same number spammed over and over again on streetlights in Forza Horizon 4, either. I checked some different ones dotted around, each one had a unique number. It’s these little extra steps that Playground Games takes that help to help make its worlds feel so immersive and lived in. We’re just waiting to determine the electrician pull over by want you to do a little maintenance next.
