Devil May Cry 5 Will Feature Ample Weapons Old and new

Half on the Devil May Cry franchise’s appeal is its collectible, creative demonic weapons. The other half may be the power to plow through armies of demons with those weapons. Longtime fans is going to be thrilled to hear Devil May Cry 5 will feature a good amount of returning fan favorite weapons plus some a.

Today’s Devil May Cry 5 panel was bursting with delicious information about the upcoming game. Devil May Cry 5 will feature a good amount of extra goodies, including alternate outfits every character -but you couldn’t care less about this. No, you’re here to check out Dante and Nero’s latest tools of destruction.

Obviously, Dante’s iconic sword Rebellion with the exceptional trusty handguns Ebony and Ivory will return in Devil May Cry 5. While Rebellion will precisely the same oversized sword gamers know and love, Capcom has tweaked Ebony and Ivory a tad. This time around, one gun will hit faster as well as the other will hit harder, but players might only notice this difference when using the Dante’s Gunslinger Style.

Speaking of returning weapons, Dante’s reliable demon-perforating shotgun Coyote A will make a comeback, and so will the rocket launcher Kalina Ann. Kinda. Actually, the weapon’s successor, Kalina Ann 2, could make an explosive first impression in Devil May Cry 5 due to a multishot ability that can spam many of the rockets at enemies.

Not to be outdone by ranged weapons, the demonic sword Sparda will reappear in Devil May Cry 5 to puree demons.? Moreover, the frost-spewing triple nunchaku Cerberus will in the end return to Dante’s roster, and also this old three-headed dog is familiar with newer and more effective tricks. This period, Cerberus will turn into a flaming bo staff with an electric chain staff, all while Dante channels his inner Bruce Lee.

Of course, that merely covers the returning classics. Don’t worry, though; Dante may have lots of new toys in Devil May Cry 5. You probably know about his transforming motorcycle, Cavaliere, but he’ll have some demonic boxing gloves/shoes and a fancy hat to select them. The armored gloves/boots Balrog will combine the fighting prowess of Mohammad Ali while using the power of a flaming Shoryuken. Meanwhile, the hat, built from the hide of a Faust demon and fittingly named Faust Hat, will inject the action by risk vs. reward. It can shoot Red Orbs like bullets but they can also latch onto enemies to farm orbs as well.

While Nero won’t have any stylish new weapons (that we know of), he’s going to have plenty of Devil Breaker arms in order to change his lopped-off Devil Bringer arm. Capcom didn’t reveal any new arms while in the panel, but it really assures us the special Devil Breaker arms (and special form of Cavaliere) that is included in the Deluxe Edition will likely be perfectly balanced rather than overpowered. Go ahead and take Sweet Surrender, for instance. It is basically a vibrating massage arm. All it’s suitable for is slowly restoring health during combat instead of tossing demons around. Plus, the arm will break appears to be enemy hits the player when it’s in use. Completely balanced.

Devil May Cry 5 will release on March 8th, 2019 to your PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Which should give gamers lots of time to wait on feeling numb because of these sweet weapons. And when that’s too little, players can take pictures of the weapons in action together with the game’s new Photo Mode.
